Social, environmental, socio-environmental and environment vulnerability: Concepts and conceptions

The growing demand for the operationalization of scientific concepts makes them to be proposed as an intervention design. In this context, objective study is know and conceptions that identify vulnerability, it social, environmental or socio-environmental, well distinguish types vulnerability; socio-environmental vulnerability factors; and, analyze role public policies in mitigating vulnerabilities. Therefore, a bibliographic research was carried out with descriptive approach. It found people general need aware risks vulnerabilities are permanently observed cities. rapid intense alteration natural landscapes into artificial generated, above all, by human constructions, which characterize urban spaces, results numerous problems cities, requiring create defense mechanisms risk factors. so all together can overcome vulnerabilities, they socio-environmental.
